Ms. HEIDI GETROUW – MEMBER
Heidi Getrouw joined the CIFA board in August 2014, as representative of the CBA (Curacao Bankers Association). She heads the International Corporate Banking department at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank. The International Corporate department is typically providing bank services to the international clients who have their local companies managed by the Trust Service Providers in Curacao.
After obtaining her master’s degree in Business Law at the University of Leiden she started her career in Curacao at MeesPierson Trust Curacao in 1999. Subsequently she moved to support the TMF Curacao Team and in July 2007 she made the switch over to banking when she joined CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank.
With 15 years of experience in the International Financial Service Industry in Curacao, Heidi has the appropriate knowledge and experience to assist CIFA in its vision and goals for further development and sustainability of the Industry in Curacao.
