Janine Lacle is from Aruba, however, moved to Curacao for several years during her childhood years before returning to Aruba. After completing her graduate studies in the Netherlands in 2003 she jumped on the opportunity to start her professional career at the Curacao office of ABN AMRO (nowadays CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank).
Since 2003, she has been part of the wealth management team at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank, where she manages a large international clients’ portfolio. Her task also entails the development of tailored investment products depending on the particular needs of her clients.
She has been a member of the Supervisory Board of directors of the Algemeen Pensioenfonds van Curacao since 2015, where she together with the other board members provide guidance and market insight to the management of the fund to meet its long-term objectives. Furthermore, she was a member of the Board of ‘Stichting Bureau Toezicht en Normering Overheids entiteiten ( SBTNO)” up until recently. The SBTNO is an organization that advices the government on board candidates for the state-owned companies.
Janine a holds a Master’s of Science degree in corporate finance from the Tilburg University in the Netherlands and Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Aruba. She has always been very passionate about investment management and has dedicated most of her university years and now as a professional in enhancing her skills and insights to better understand market trends and develop investment products.
