Mrs. NACHA DE JESUS – CHAIRMAN
Nacha de Jesus is Director at Intertrust Curacao servicing the last 2 years mostly US Dow Jones and Nasdaq stock listed multinationals and Private Equity Funds. Before that she was also responsible for Business and Product Development for corporate and private wealth LATAM clients. She manages a team of legal, financial, marketing and business development professionals and is known for both her technical (tax, legal and financial) knowledge and for her interpersonal skills. Nacha is constantly looking for new commercial opportunities and has a special interest in and participates in Intertrust big data, blockchain and cryptocurrency projects.
Nacha was also (a CBCS licensed) personal director of a local offshore bank and of a foreign insurance company acting on the local market. Currently Nacha also acts as personal director of some local operational companies.
Before returning to Curacao, Nacha worked as Managing Director of Zara Holding BV belonging to the Spanish multinational clothing company Inditex, the world’s biggest fashion group in the world. At Zara Nacha obtained a broad experience with (tax) reorganisations, transfer pricing, (tax) substance, due diligence and with negotiations with tax authorities around the world (a.o. in Turkey, Russia, Greece, Brazil, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Denmark).
Both as a student and later next to her professional career, Nacha participated as chairman in a Netherlands Antilles law association and as board member of a theater and local radio station in Amsterdam. As a treasurer she lobbied and negotiated with local government for the financial continuation of both organizations.
Nacha obtained a master degree in tax law at the Leiden University in the Netherlands. She also studied and lived in Melbourne (Australia) before starting her professional career in the Netherlands as tax lawyer at one of the big 6 advisory firms.
When not traveling, Nacha enjoys jogging, meditation, going on hikes, and planning for the next adventure with husband and teenage sons.
